Platform: IOS & Android

Cost: Free with premium option

These days, we can use all the reminders we can get. Schedules are filled with forgotten events, post-it notes are overflowing, and it always seems like time is running out even after chasing the end of a to-do list. But this whole cycle doesn’t have to last much longer if you’re willing to let technology give a helping hand. Thankfully, Tick Tick is here to be the daily planner and life organizer you wish you’d met sooner.

Designed to help users take control of their time, Tick Tick focuses on utilizing folders, lists, tasks and check-box items to their fullest potential. Pretty handy, right? Being digital rather than on paper means there’s no need for sorting through piles of notes in this all-in-one personal database that can even be shared with others to assign tasks. Features such as voice input, calendar scheduling, and the ability to transform emails straight into activities on the app are quite useful, especially if you’re constantly on the go. Being organized doesn’t have to be boring either. Tick Tick also sets achievement scores for daily routines; a higher number of tasks completed results in a better score and vice versa. But that’s not all! Boost your productivity by using the Pomodoro Technique right in the app. You can even set white noise to keep your focus!

Though the app is perfect for personal use, Tick Tick lacks in functionality for group use compared to other apps with the same mission. Larger projects are unfit, despite Tick Tick being advertised for being able to handle accommodations as such. A compromise can be found, but for the hefty price of $27.99 a year, only to receive an extension of features that other apps already offer for free. While it may not be the ideal answer to group work, personal functions make up for what is lacking in the work sharing department.

Missing deadlines are a thing of the past with Tick Tick. Finding a balance amongst daily schedules is both rewarding and fulfilling, so make your to-do list digital and get your business done!
