El Paso native James Hernandez is a junior Communication major minoring in Economics graduat-ing Spring of 2023. With a passion for writing since childhood, James joined the Maroon Weekly team as a writing intern this summer to grow his skillset as a writer and to meet new people. When James isn’t doing work for school, MW, or for his own publication, you can usually find him in his homemade darkroom developing film, catching up on last night’s Jeopardy! game, or outside with his radio awaiting the next jazz hour on NPR.
