Evelyn Wang, in short, is a failure. Her husband wants a divorce, her relationship with her daughter is far from perfect, and she is struggling to keep her laundromat business alive. And to top it all off, she’s being audited by the IRS.

However, just as Evelyn’s world is about to fold in on her, moments before her big meeting with the IRS, she is thrown into the multiverse and is told she is the only one that can save the world.

Everything Everywhere All at Once” is the latest movie released by production company A24, the same company that produced award-winning films such as “Moonlight,” “Lady Bird,” and “Eighth Grade.” So, in other words, they know how to make some good movies. And “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” is a movie that will be winning some awards in the upcoming award season.

This movie is full of both comedy and tragedy. One moment the whole theater erupts in laughter while the next has the audience crying as Evelyn (Michelle Yeoh) deals with her reality while reflecting on what her life could have been after experiencing it in different timelines.

While the concept of the multiverse is something people have seen in Marvel’s superhero movies, this is one of the first time moviegoers have seen this concept beyond the superhero franchise, making “Everything Everywhere All at Once” a unique experience.

Aside from the movie’s concept and emotional capacity, one thing that stood out in “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” is the fashion. Evelyn’s daughter Joy Wang (Stephanie Hsu) wears an abundance of current and trendy clothing that reflects the current generation’s unique style. In this movie, Joy is seen sporting an abundance of outlandish outfits that entails all of the chaoticness that is high fashion.

Overall, “Everything Everywhere All at Once” is a beautiful and original story that is unlike anything told before. Dive into the multiverse!
