As summer comes to an end, Hurricane Harry’s continues to host sensational artists for you to enjoy live. The summer isn’t over yet, and neither are the cowboy boots, country music, and sweet new memories to come.
Texan country singer Kolby Cooper takes the stage at Hurricane Harry’s on Aug. 25 at 9 p.m., with self-made songwriter Palmer Anthony opening for the night.
Cooper’s music includes relatable “high-energy rockers, scorching break-up anthems and reflective love songs,” inspired by real life experiences. His music has accumulated over 113 million on demand streams and has sold out shows since Cooper was fresh out of high school. Songs like “Boy from Anderson County,” “It Ain’t Me,” and “Fall” are among the most popular songs Cooper performs, conjuring heartfelt memories through genuine lyrics and incorporation of electric guitar.
At 14 years old, Anthony started teaching himself how to play the guitar. By the time he graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara, he had fallen in love with songwriting. He moved to Fort Worth to pursue a career in country music and has since then worked with Scott Faris and Grammy Award winning producer Jacquire King. He adds his modern flare to traditional Texas style, making him a “Fresh Find,” according to Texas Music Pickers.
