Fit4Mom: Pre and Postnatal Fitness Classes for Moms

0

This is one for all you momma’s out there! If you’re looking for ways to stay active during or post pregnancy, checkout BCS’s Fit4Mom. Fit4Mom is a workout community that offers fun and inviting indoor/ outdoor classes for prenatal and postnatal women. The Fit4Mom mission is to not only to provide fitness classes but to build a network of moms who are there to support each other throughout every stage of motherhood. They aim to strengthen moms in body, mind and spirit with an emphasis on building relationships.

It can be scary to put yourself out there during and after pregnancy, and Franchise Owner and Certified Instructor, Lauren Wolfe, says reducing that fear is what the community aspect of Fit4Mom is all about. When asked what she would say to moms who might be intimidated to join the Fit4Mom family, she says, “I imagine some new moms might feel like they are going to be the ‘new kid in school,’ and I’m here to tell you that this is the kindest, warmest group of mamas in BCS.”

Since Fit4Mom caters to the unique needs of local moms and moms-to-be by offering programs conveniently located throughout the BCS area, there’s no reason not to try it out! Especially when Lauren makes it clear everyone is there to support one another. “We don’t care if you haven’t washed your hair in days or don’t own a single piece of lululemon. Our moms are of all levels of fitness, and there is no competition here. We only believe in building each other up!”

In the BCS area, Fit4Mom has four meeting locations (plus an inclement weather backup) a virtual zoom location and offers classes Monday through Saturday. To further sweeten the convenience, Lauren adds, “Your first class is always free! We would love to meet you!”

Each location offers a different variety of classes depending on your needs, but getting in better shape isn’t the only thing you’ll gain. Imagine engaging in fun workout classes while getting to know a network of ladies who are going through the same struggles of motherhood. Lauren’s biggest hope for the moms she coaches is that “they know they are seen and loved. We know how hard it is to get kids ready and out the door. We are proud of them for showing up and taking an hour to work on their personal health.” With the expertly certified instructors there to guide you every step of the way, you’re in great hands!

Classes take place regularly at Wolf Pen Creek Park, Lake Walk Town Center, Shannon Morton Photography Studio, Century Square and in case of inclement weather at Post Oak Mall, so you’re sure to find one that meets your needs.
