Drink Beer and Ride Bikes

0

Fitness and health are quickly becoming mainstream. People of all ages, races and backgrounds are riding the wave to bring their “sexy back.” However, what if your idea of fitness and health included alcohol? Well, Bike Barn College Station and College Station Karbach Brews Cruise definitely think it’s a great idea.

Bike Barn College Station, in conjunction with College Station Karbach Brews Cruise, will be hosting their annual Beer and Bike Ride on March 19, 2018. Join Cycling Director Adam LeSage for a night time booze cruise around College Station. Participants will meet up at the Dixie Chicken and cruise over to  Fox and Hound. After that, they will enjoy a Karbach happy hour at Bike Barn.

Karbach Brewing Co. has a background in the beer industry including distribution, importing, German training and operations. The company received its name because it resides on Karbach Street in Houston, TX and has been there for decades. Karbach Brewing Co. has many flavors of beer to offer to the public. These range from their mainstays to their seasonal lineup, fun series and more. The beers featured include Love Street, Lemon and Ginger Radler, Tasty Waves and Hop Delusion.

Texas born and raised, Bike Barn is also a Houston, TX native, and has served the Houston for more than 30 years. As an Aggie owned and operated business, it was only a matter of time before Bike Barn became a staple in the College Station area.  Bike Barn holds themselves to higher standards of quality, service and community. They take great pride in the quality of the products they carry.

Eventually, Karbach Brewing Co. and  Bike Barn College Station joined forces, and the two introduced their bike and beer ride event. The Brews Cruise will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Bike Barn and Karbach Brewing Co. are advocates of safety and encourage participants to wear their helmets and have the proper lighting.

So, if you dig beer and dig bikes, come out and engage in booze and fitness. After all, what is the definition of a balanced diet? A beer in each hand.
