It’s a new month y’all, so head on down to Harry’s this Thursday and Friday to hear some authentic country music live! BCS, we’re in luck—Aaron Watson will be performing here two nights in a row! Get your tickets ASAP on Harry’s website because even though there’s two shows, due to COVID-19 restrictions, there are fewer tickets available.
The Amarillo native singer-songwriter is all about writing tracks that hit every single era of his life. His most recent album, “American Soul,” was released on Jan. 8, 2021, so we’ll be some of the first to hear his new songs live! Watson’s music features sadness, nostalgia, love, and encouragement equally throughout all of his albums, so however you prefer your country playlists, at least a few of his songs are sure to fit your taste.
Watson is currently on tour, hitting almost every part of Texas this spring and a few cities in other states. Be sure to check out his website with tour dates and locations to let your friends and family in other cities know so they can hear him live, too.
On Thursday, March 4, Joey Greer will be opening for Watson. The East Texas singer brings a southern rock and 90’s country mix with a touch of soul. Greer’s debut album, “Frontier” has been out just over a year, so get ready to hear new country tunes all night long on March 4.
Friday night, March 5, Jon Stork will be the opening performer. This Houston rockytonk singer-songwriter went to college here in BCS and played locally—he’s back again for the night! In the summer of 2019, Stork released his first album, “Radio Cowboy,” with one single going to #1 on Texas radio the following February.
Grab your group of buds and reserve a table to drink a beer and listen to good ol’ country music together. Get your tickets early since seating is limited. Both shows start at 9 p.m.
