Spring Wedding Show & Benefit

0

Beautiful venues, gorgeous flower arrangements, honeymoons that are to die for… all in one place! On Sunday, February 27, The Wedding Association of the Brazos Valley is presenting their 31st annual Spring Wedding Show and Benefit. Located at the Brazos County Expo, this is an event for anyone, whether you’re just starting the wedding process or wrapping it all up!

Rebekah Stallsworth, Business Manager for The Wedding Association, has worked with them for over 10 years and says she always gets super excited about this show. “It gives a chance for the community to see what our members can do, see their personal styles and how they put their own twist on the industry.”

With weddings being one of the most special occasions in life, everything from the venue all the way down to the bride and groom’s cakes have to be perfect. So many decisions to make for this special day! Luckily, the vendors that will be at the show are there for this exact reason, and would love to help you navigate your way through this exciting time.

Local vendors, including photographers, caterers, bakers, and hosting venues will be at the show throughout the entire event, which is from noon to 4 p.m., and there will also be door prizes every 30 minutes that are sure to be wonderful! A $1000 grand prize certificate will be awarded to one lucky winner, which can be used through any of the vendors at the show!

One thing Stallsworth wants the public to know is that this show isn’t just about weddings – its more about the event planners behind it. “Every member we have is capable, and really enjoys events that are not just wedding focused.” From weddings, to corporate events, to private parties, these vendors can do it all.

When looking online at vendors, it’s hard to get a grasp for their personality and style by just looking at a website or communicating through email. That’s why this in-person event that allows you to speak face-to-face with them is so special and beneficial.

“These shows give our members a chance to really showcase themselves, to really show their personal style, and to be able to give the chance to the community to talk one-on-one in a very low pressure situation.”

Tickets bought in advance to the event are $15, and will go up to $20 at the door. You can purchase them on the Wedding Association of the Brazos Valley website.

Get ready for an afternoon filled with all things wedding—a Sunday you’ll never forget!
