It’s finally time for live theatre to make its comeback! Come and enjoy MSC OPAS’ first live musical to take the stage in over 20 months. Aggieland now has a golden ticket to the world of Ronald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” and audiences have two sweet opportunities to see it at Rudder Auditorium on Tuesday, Nov. 9, and Wednesday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m.
At MSC OPAS’ production, Aggieland will experience the world of Mr. Wonka like never before, as it includes music from the original film and a new score from the songwriters of “Hairspray.” The famous Willy Wonka opens his chocolate factory only to a lucky few who find an ultra-rare golden ticket. One of those lucky winners is Charlie Bucket, a kid whose bland life is about to be turned upside down as he gets to go on a journey through the factory along with four other golden ticket holders and see things like Oompa-Loompas that are beyond anything he, or the others, could have ever imagined.
MSC OPAS is an organization whose mission is to create opportunities for the Brazos Valley to experience and be inspired by professional theater, music, and dance productions.
