LIVE!art in the Park: Baby There’s Art Outside

0

If you love local art and are looking for a one-of-a-kind Christmas gift, come on down to Century Square from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m on Sunday, Nov. 29 for the Live! Art in the Park event. The event is free for the whole family, and artists will not only showcase their work but also give attendees a chance to make their own art!

Watch artists from all sorts of mediums practice their craft before your eyes and even try your own hand at a free welcome mat painting class! You’ll find painters, henna artists, tattoo artists, taxidermy artists and more on The Green, right in the heart of the Century Square. Pretty much everything from cookie decorating to organic soap making!

And what’s a beautiful fall art event without music? There’ll be free live music from Americana artist Mary – Charlotte Young, a Bryan native. Recently releasing her first album, “LA Again,” this past October, Young is sure to bring some fun tunes to Art in the Park.

The Green is the perfect place to hold an event like this so the kids can run around while you’re shopping and there’s enough space for social distancing. Be sure and drop by your favorite shops and restaurants in Century Square while you’re there.
