What’s better than rocking out to a blues and guitar legend in a historic nightclub? If this sounds perfect, you won’t want to miss Carvin Jones performing on April 16 at 8 p.m. at Bryan’s own Grand Stafford Theater

Texas native Carvin Jones, also known as “King of Strings,” has played all over the world and graced millions of people with his talent. His blues genre has stunned audiences everywhere, and he continues to give them more each performance. After taking up the guitar at an early age, he hasn’t put it down since and was named “one of the top 50 blues guitarists of all time” in Guitarist Magazine in 2001. He has now played for almost thirty years and even has a trio named after him. Jones’ performance will be vibrant, soulful and funky, and his music will ensure you’re on your feet dancing the whole time.

There’s no better place to host Jones than the Grand Stafford Theater. This fun and groovy venue has been around for over 100 years and is dearly loved by Bryan-College Station residents. This newly renovated theater has hosted popular musical artists such as Parker McCollum, Jillian Edwards, and many more.

The pairing of Grand Stafford Theater and Jones is a recipe for a great night out. Tickets can be purchased via the Carvin Jones website. General admission tickets are $25 and VIP tickets are $75 and include a meet and greet with Carvin. Kids under 12 can enjoy the concert for free. This will be an exciting event you don’t want to miss!
