Check out this game for a unique experience that you won’t be embarrassed to play in public.

1 Second Everyday – $2.99 (App Store, Google Play)

The New Year is just around the corner, and if one of your resolutions is to make everyday memorable this app will help you capture it and keep you accountable. Document your life by recording one second every 24 hours. How cool would it be to be able to view a short film on how your year went at the end of 2016? It would definitely make you want to make sure it was a good one. The app was made by Cesar Kuriyama who said he was inspired to create the app after having done a similar project that made a profoundly positive impact on his life and wanted to design an app that let other people easily do the same.

Yummly – Free (App Store, Google Play)

The perfect cooking app for the holidays, Yummly was first started as a website that launched in 2010 to be the ultimate kitchen tool. The app gives a personalized experience to recommending recipes, all based on your tastes and experience. Don’t waste your time searching through recipes you don’t want. Filter recipes by holiday, cuisine, taste, diet, nutrition, allergy, cook time and so much more. The app works like Pandora – the more recipes you ”yum” the more Yummly will learn your preferences and recommends similar recipes that you will love. The app includes features like a shopping list and the ability to save recipes you “yum” and automatically sorts them into categories.
