Are you feeling motivated to try something new this weekend? If so, give yoga a shot to see if it helps your mind and body. Maybe you’re already a yoga fanatic and attend the class—well, invite a friend, roommate, or significant other to join you. Yoga on The Green at Century Square takes place every Saturday from 9-10 a.m. when Yogi MoMo instructs the free one-hour yoga event for all to enjoy!
The Yoga on The Green event is open to the public, and all you need to do is show up and bring your friends and family with you. A mat is required for you to participate in the yoga lesson, so if you don’t have one, ask around to borrow one or buy a mat before the weekend. Also, take a water bottle to stay hydrated while starting the morning with some physical activity.
If you’re interested in going, add it to your calendar and keep an eye on the weather because if it’s below 50 degrees, yoga will be cancelled. Cross your fingers for warm weather this Saturday!
But even if the weather is too cool this week, Yogi MoMo is opening a studio in BCS, The Bridge Yoga, with a grand opening in Mid-April! You’ll be able to go every day of the week if you’d like rather than just Saturday mornings. They also have a virtual studio on Zoom if you prefer doing yoga in the comfort of your own home.
It’s time to get your namaste on this weekend and enjoy the peace and quiet of the fresh air outside. This might be the start of a new weekly or daily routine for you and your family and friends.
After morning yoga, you can explore shops around Century Square and enjoy some fantastic food at the local restaurants. For more information about yoga on Saturday, check out the Century Square Facebook page.
