The Week at 4 Star

Next, this Friday, February 28 from 8-11 p.m. on 4 Star’s Concert Hall stage, you’ll have the chance to check out Saints Eleven, the Dallas-based Red Dirt country band. Led by Jeff Grossman, Saints Eleven has a recognizable style to those familiar with Texas country bands, but this is likely why they have three best-selling albums, a dozen charting singles and regular tour dates with Texan legends. Saints Eleven is famous for energetic, exciting live performances. Mason Marek will be opening for them at 8 p.m. If you’re interested in checking this show out, tickets are 5-10 dollars and can be purchased

Finally, this Saturday, Feb. 29, also on the Concert Hall stage, you’ll get a chance to check out Wade Strother and the Renegades play their instantly recognizable, piano-led “redneck soul” music. Influenced by everything from classic rock and roll artists like Jerry Lee Lewis to gospel music, Strothers and his band play a style of Texan honkey tonk that keeps your boots scooting by mixing their own original pieces with dozens of expertly-performed covers. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m. Tickets range from 5-10 dollars. If you’re interested in checking this performance out, you can
