Open Mic Night at The Village


The perfect way for a singer-songwriters to showcase their talent, meet other musicians in The Brazos Valley and possibly find opportunities to move forward in their career are open-mic nights! The Village Cafe and host Joey Mcgee presents an open-mic style singer/songwriter night on Thursday, February 9th and every Thursday night from 8-11pm.

Joey Mcgee is a local musician who has released three albums, and The Village shows its appreciation for local talent by welcoming him to host the event every week. Many musicians began their career by playing open-mic nights during their college years, and their beautiful stage and casual atmosphere allow for up-and-coming musicians to play their original work for a captive audience. If you are an aspiring singer/songwriter, this is for you!

The Village Cafe is located in Downtown Bryan and supports local artists and businesses by featuring local art pieces along the walls and serving locally sourced food and drinks. Live music, great food, and a laid back atmosphere makes this a perfect night out for anyone in the area.
