Local Lattes

Fall is just the best season for coffee! And what’s better on a cold night than a warm, smooth, creamy latte? Nothing! BCS has plenty of options for getting that latte fix!

Of course it’s the time of year when we see pumpkin tossed into everything—pumpkin bread, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin soup—but we’re not complaining. One of our favorite pumpkin recipes is the pumpkin latte and this year, the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte has been warming our tummies for a whopping 15 years! Happy Anniversary, PSL!

Don’t let the cold keep you away from trying the PSL at POV at Lake Walk. You may even desire to pair the frothy beverage with one of their exquisite almond croissants, which could end up being a match made in heaven, although we’ll leave that decision up to you.

If you find yourself in the middle of Downtown Bryan, pumpkin lattes are few and far between, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of lattes to choose from. The Village, who recently ran out of their popular pumpkin latte, is serving up a classic salted caramel latte as well as a peppermint mocha latte. Occasionally the milk will be steamed with cinnamon to add some spice. At The Village, not only can you enjoy a hot drink, but you can pair it with local food, music and art.

Just a stone’s throw away is Harvest Coffee Bar, and their fall menu has a handful of seasonally crafted drinks. Cozy up in your flannel with a good book while sipping on an apple pie latte. Or maybe you’re someone who prefers a hint of chocolate? If so, go for the mocha-nut latte. It’s the perfect blend of their simple coconut latte and mocha latte. Mmm… we can almost smell it now. Can you?

These fantastic BCS lattes are all seasonal, so that means they’re just visiting. So be sure to stop in before it’s too late!
