The movie will begin at 6 p.m. and a hot chocolate bar, cider, cookies, and popcorn will be available for purchase. The Stella also recommends bringing your own blanket and chair to the screening. Holiday Pops Concert Dec. 17
The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra will be having their annual holiday concert, though they recently announced that it will only be available via a video option to best ensure the safety of the community. Music Director Marcelo Bussiki will be conducting the Symphony’s Brass and Percussion sections with organist James Faith, the Christ United Methodist Church Sanctuary Choir and The Canticle Ringers. The Holiday Pops Concert will be filmed on Dec. 13 at Christ United Methodist Church, and ticket holders will receive a video link to the concert about four days later to enjoy the concert in the safety of their own homes. Tickets for the concert can be purchased for $35 in person at the MSC box office or online at the TAMU Box Office’s website or on the BVSO’s website. Guests who have already purchased tickets for the event will be automatically enrolled in the via video option.
These events have all been designed to garner the most holiday fun and cheer while still remaining safe to keep you healthy all season long. Take advantage of a chance to get out and about, enjoy a classic Christmas movie, holiday shop and cozy up at home for an exceptional concert.
