While it’s unlikely the Brazos Valley will have the ‘White Christmas’ that you so often hear sung about, we can at the very least feel like it by heading over to Christ United Methodist Church this Saturday, December 7, at 5:00 p.m. to listen to the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra as they perform their famous Holiday Pops Concert!
In addition to the orchestra you already know and love, the BVSO will also be joined by organist James Faith, the College Station High School Varsity Women’s Choir, and the Sanctuary Choir and the Canticle Ringers of Christ United Methodist Church. BVSO’s Music Director Marcelo Bussiki invites us all to come listen to holiday classics — like “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night” — performed by seasoned, passionate professionals.
If the “Holiday Pops Concert” has become a seasonal staple in the area, so has their famous cookie reception! Immediately after the concert, feel free to stick around and socialize over some delicious cookies graciously hosted by the Friends Association of the Symphony Orchestra.
The concert is this Saturday, December 7, at 5:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church and is not included with the purchase of BVSO season tickets. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children. It’s time to don your ugly Christmas sweaters and come celebrate the holiday!
