The King of country music is back! With his newest album, “Honky Tonk Time Machine,” George Strait continues to make his mark on the country music scene and hold true to his title of ‘The King.’ The album was released March 29 of this year and is now available on any music streaming service.

After two years of hiatus, Strait produced an album that differed from the ones he’s most known for. Unlike his other albums that often feature the soulful sound of the fiddle,  “Honky Tonk Time Machine” is full of steel guitar melodies and upbeat, funky rhythms that call for boots stampin’ on an old hardwood floor.

Strait takes his listeners on a journey through the past, present, and future with songs like “Some Nights,” “Two More Wishes,” and the album-titled song, “Honky Tonk Time Machine.” Listeners will be able to experience the pain of past heartbreak, the joy and excitement of a new love, and traveling back to the good ‘ol days of country music with this album.

Keeping his romantic reputation in tact, there are a few love songs on the album and with Strait’s deep, Southern and passionate vocals, listeners will surely find all the words they needed for that special someone.
