Top 3 Things You Need to Do This Fall
After a few years on this campus there are a few things people need to know before the sports season kicks in to high gear.
1. Don’t wait around.
Tickets go fast around here. If you want a good seat, know a senior or get there early. Know how to pull football tickets and know when to get there to get a good seat. Also, act fast when they start the sale of Southwest Classic tickets. Because they will go fast, and if procrastination sets in, you might have to catch the game on TV rather that in a seat in “Jerry’s World.”
2. It’s not just Football!
Believe it or not – it’s not all about football in the fall season in Aggieland! Soccer and Volleyball have both seen playoffs last year and look to do the same this year.
Some teams are only in front of the home crowd for one time this year. That’s right one time in front of the 12th Man. These teams need support unlike any other team on this campus. The Aggie Cross Country team will only play in Aggieland one Saturday a year. Also, don’t forget about the Aggie Track and Field team, they don’t host any outdoor meets in Aggieland, but host a few indoor meets at the Gilliam Indoor Facility. You only get a few chances to see these two time national champions so check them out when they host the challenges. The teams also host the 2011 Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Gilliam complex in the Spring.
3. Get a 12th Man Rewards card!
Who doesn’t like free stuff? If you’re reading this you’re most likely in college, and need free things! When you go to an Aggie Athletics event look for the 12th Man Rewards team to get your card, you get rewards for each milestone you get to. The rewards range from shirts to caps and other prizes. If you don’t get one of these this year and at least get the shirt, you’re really missing out.
