Antonio’s Pizza. This is a great place for a quick dine in or take out meal. If seating is limited, enjoy your slices on Northgate’s back patio. With tons of pizzas to choose from like the pesto tortellini, steak quesadilla, and barbeque chicken ranch, your taste buds are sure to be intrigued. 104 College Main. 260-3535.
Fitzwilly’s. Cheap and tasty bar food with a variety of games to play while you wait. Choose the Fitz Favorite and it includes a burger, spicy fries and a drink, all for less than six bucks. Church Street BBQ. A barbeque place on Northgate has been long overdue, but Church Street is worth the wait! Their juicy, flavorful meats are divine with unexpected sides, but be sure to get there early as they have been known to run out of food. The Corner Grill & Bar. Endure the heat and enjoy the best rooftop patio in Bryan/College Station or cool off indoors and watch one of their many televisions. Potbelly Sandwich Shop. While it’s a healthier alternative to nearby greasy choices, it’s nothing to write home about. Occasional live acoustics calm the hustle and bustle of the normal lunch crowd. Kyoto Sushi. Although sensibly priced, the sushi rolls are merely average and the environment, not very Zen-like. There is a reason Kyoto is better known as the “Sake Bar.” 113 College Main. 846-5541.
